A fan, a song and a promise.

An Efik bride holds her fan like a secret and opens it when she is ready. Emem is ready. Our families have planned an afternoon of lace, coral and dancing, and it would not be complete without you.

With love, Emem & Eyo

Good to know

What is an onyonyo?

The flowing gown an Efik bride wears for her traditional wedding, often in lace with coral beads. Emem will change outfits more than once, so keep your camera close.

What should I wear?

Celebration attire. Peach, teal and coral are lovely, and lace is always welcome.

Are these photographs of the real couple?

No. Everyone pictured is a fictional sample for this design, and the venue is imagined.
