Two families. One cup of palm wine.
In our tradition, a bride carries palm wine through a crowd of family and friends until she finds the one she has chosen. Ugochi has already found Chidubem. Come and watch her find him again, then help us dance until the canopy shakes.

What happens at the wine carrying?
The bride’s father hands her a cup of palm wine. She searches the crowd for her groom, offers him the cup, he drinks, and both families cheer them on to the dance floor.
What should I wear?
Celebration attire. Coral, palm green and gold are lovely, and isiagu, george and lace are always welcome.
