He planted, and we grew.

Papa taught history for forty years and spent every evening in his garden. He believed anything would grow if you were patient with it, children included. He went to rest peacefully at eighty-eight. Come and help us give thanks for him.

Good to know

What should I wear?

Black and white, with a touch of green in his honour if you have it.

Can I bring flowers?

He would have preferred a plant. The family will plant every one that arrives in his garden.

Are these photographs of a real person?

No. Everyone pictured is a fictional sample for this design, and the venues are imagined.
